Tallahassee therapy for

Women & Children

Strength got you this far.
Oak Haven is where healing begins.

The work isn't about becoming someone new.
It's about returning to who you were before life asked too much of you.

At Oak Haven Therapy, we believe that every person who walks through this door deserves a place that was built for them — not a waiting room, not a clipboard, but a genuine haven.

Oak Haven was created for women who grew up carrying more than they should have. Who learned early that being needed was safer than being vulnerable. Who are now navigating burnout, the aftermath of a difficult marriage, or a quiet, persistent sense that something has to change.

We also hold space for their children — through play therapy that meets kids exactly where they are, in a room designed to feel like theirs.

Through trauma-informed approaches and deeply attuned clinical care, we honor your story, your pace, and the particular way you've learned to survive. And we help you figure out what it looks like to do more than that.

Here, asking for help is not a weakness. It is the whole point.

Who We Are

Oak Haven was built on a simple belief: everyone deserves a place where they can finally exhale.

Many of the women I work with learned early that being needed felt safer than being vulnerable — emotionally, relationally, or both. They became capable, self-sufficient, and exhausted. They learned to manage everything and ask for nothing. And somewhere along the way, they lost track of themselves.

This is a place to find your way back. Through therapy, parent coaching, or play therapy for your child — Oak Haven holds space for all of it.

You are not too much.
You are not too broken.
You are not too late.

You are someone who learned to survive instead of heal — and there is a part of you that has been waiting a long time for permission to do something different.
Oak Haven Therapy was built for that part of you.

Take the next step. We're here.
