Your Family Doesn't Need to Be Fixed.
It Needs to Be Understood.

The parenting haven

A parent sitting on a couch with her hand on her forehead, looking distressed, while a girl with hair flying jumps on a couch nearby in a bright living room.

Your family loves each other — and right now that love doesn't feel like enough.

Maybe you're raising a child who experiences the world more intensely than others and the traditional parenting advice has never once worked. Maybe the distance between family members keeps growing no matter how hard you try. Maybe you're a parent who is exhausted, second-guessing everything, and desperately searching for someone who truly understands what life with your child is actually like — not a textbook version of it, but the real, messy, beautiful, overwhelming reality of it.

You are not failing your family. You are a family doing something genuinely hard — and you deserve real support.

You don't always need therapy. Sometimes you need a plan, a framework, and someone who gets it.

parenting support

Parenting is one of the most demanding and humbling things a person can do — and it can also be one of the loneliest. The strategies that work for other children don't always work for yours. The advice from well-meaning family members doesn't always land. You love your child with everything you have, and some days you genuinely don't know what to do next.

Parenting support at The Parenting Haven offers you a dedicated space — just for you as a parent — to process the emotional weight of this journey, build strategies that actually fit your child and your family, and remember that you are not alone in this.

This is not parent training in the traditional sense. This is not a space where you will be handed a behavior chart and sent on your way. This is a collaborative, strengths-based partnership where we figure out together what your child actually needs — and how you can show up for them in a way that feels sustainable and authentic for your whole family.

Parent coaching

Goal & Present Focused

Coaching is a goal-focused, forward-moving process. It's not about diagnosing or treating mental health conditions — it's about getting clarity on where you are, where you want to go, and what's been getting in the way.

purpose

Parent coaching is for caregivers who want to show up differently for their kids — and aren't sure how. Whether you're navigating a difficult phase, a family transition, or patterns you recognize from your own childhood, we work together on practical skills and a clearer understanding of what your child needs.

What it is not

Coaching is not therapy and does not treat mental health conditions. If clinical needs arise, I'll always be honest with you about that and help you find the right support.

Training

As a licensed therapist with a background in family systems and child development, I bring a deeper understanding of relational patterns and behavior to my coaching work. That perspective informs everything — even when we're focused on practical goals. I have been trained specifically in parent coaching by Dandelion Seeds Parenting.
